Woodchests Glamping offers safari tents, wild camping and fishing in a beautiful rural setting, near the Essex village of Pebmarsh, to the north-east of Halstead. Surrounded by peaceful countryside with a 19-acre fishing lake close by, it is the perfect location for anglers, walkers, cyclists or those who enjoy waking up in nature.
The safari tents for glampers each sleep 6 people and benefit from a private shower room and kitchenette area, with the option of adding on the unfurnished bell tents for 2 additional guests. For campers, there is the 3-acres of grassland for pitching-up, located between the mature woodland, with Portaloos and fresh water supply.
Fishing breaks including accommodation and swim ticket can be arranged. There are circular walks, cycling routes and a Fairy Trail activity. There is also a games box with outdoor sports and board games. Halstead has pubs, cafés, an antiques centre and a leisure centre. There is a golf club and railway museum a short drive away.
