Wood Farm is located in the beautiful Staffordshire countryside near Alton Towers Theme Park. This is a welcoming campsite with panoramic views across open fields towards the hills of the Peak District; ideally placed for stopovers, short breaks and holidays. Families and dogs are welcome. Children under 2 stay for free.
Suitable for caravans, motorhomes and tents, there are 13 pitches with electric hook-up, plus 3 spacious camping fields with no electricity. Site facilities include toilets, hot showers and dishwashing sinks. Fire baskets can be hired. Larger groups can be accommodated by prior arrangement, with Portaloo hire available if required.
The nearest inn serving a food menu is only a mile away and there are pubs and convenience stores found in Alton village. The Peak District National Park provides a wonderful outdoors playground for all and lots of attractions to explore. In addition, the world-famous Potteries area of Stoke-on-Trent is also within a short drive.
