The Bateman Arms

The Bateman Arms is an 18th century former coaching inn providing accommodation in the village of Shobdon, 6 miles west of Leominster. The inn offers home cooked food, a well-stocked bar, comfortable bedrooms and parking. Known for its picturesque scenery, historic landmarks and agricultural heritage, Herefordshire offers a tranquil and idyllic setting for a countryside escape.

All 6 guest rooms are located in the converted coach house across the courtyard from the main pub to provide privacy, peace and quiet. There are double rooms, super double and twin rooms, and a family room with a double and twin beds sleeping up to 4 guests. Ground floor rooms are available. Each bedroom is equipped with en suite facilities, branded complimentary toiletries, a TV, free Wifi and hospitality tray with freshly ground coffee, tea and biscuits. Breakfast is available to overnight guests in the morning and everyone can enjoy a menu of delicious food, including freshly-made pizzas, in the bar and restaurant.
