The Star and Garter

The Star and Garter is an AA 3-Star village pub offering accommodation in the village of East Dean, 6 miles from Chichester. An 18th century brick and flint building situated in the South Downs National Park, close to Goodwood Racecourse, the inn provides a comfortable place to rest and relax for tourists, cyclists and walkers.

The 3 guest bedrooms are furnished to a high standard; each with an individual style. There is a 4-poster room accessed via a private entrance with feature fireplace and a bathroom with bathtub and shower; a twin room which can also be arranged with a king bed with a private shower room; and a king room with walk-in shower.

Bedrooms have free Wifi, a TV, fridge and hospitality tray; with breakfast served in the morning. Visitors can also enjoy great food served throughout the day, with picnic hampers available. The bar is kept very well-stocked with a range of drinks and there is a beer garden. Every Sunday, the inn hosts a variety of local music acts.
