Situated along the North Downs Way and Sustrans Cycle Route 22, Puttenham Barn Bunkhouse offers eco-friendly hostel accommodation, with a Green Tourism Bronze Award, on the edge of Puttenham Common, only 4 miles from Guildford. This is a great stopover choice for walkers and cyclists, or those looking for a scenic holiday base.
Sleeping up to 11 guests in a converted barn, with electricity and hot water powered by solar energy, there is also a harvesting system for rainwater. Inside, there is a communal kitchen with dining table, sleeping area of bunk beds divided into 3 sections, Wifi and a shower room. Outside, there are picnic tables for al fresco dining.
Secure cycle storage is provided for push bikes and electric bikes. Cars can park along the road. Individuals, families and couples are welcome, with exclusive bookings available for groups, subject to availability. Puttenham village has a pub just a short walk away and the Surrey Hills AONB provides a wonderful outdoor playground.
