Undercastle Cottage

Set in the heart of the New Forest National Park, beautifully nestled along the River Avon, Undercastle Cottage is an idyllic holiday home with a thatched roof, half-timbered exterior and exposed wooden beams. The house is surrounded by three quarters of an acre of beautiful gardens, ideal for riverside picnics and fishing.

Near Fordingbridge, the house is located at the end of a private track surrounded by nature, flora and fauna; sleeping 6 guests in 3 bedrooms and also dog-friendly. In the main house, is a master bedroom with king size iron bed and a downstairs double bedroom. There are also 2 twin beds in the adjacent Fishing Lodge.

The main house includes a double-height living room with Smart TV and Dongle, family games, a log burner, sofas and French Doors opening onto the riverside patio. There is also a equipped kitchen / diner with a range cooker, plus a utility room. The bathroom features a freestanding roll top bath. There is also an extra WC.

Guests staying in the self-contained Fishing Lodge have their own en suite shower room facilities, plus a Smart TV, facilities to make hot drinks and a beautiful outside sun terrace. The garden has an al fresco dining area, barbeque, sun loungers and 3 ponds. A 2-seater kayak and rowing boat are available on request.
