Hoots Treehouses

Hoots and Tawny Treehouses are luxurious glamping huts found in a scenic farm setting, within a short walk of the East Sussex village of Mayfield. Nestled in the High Weald National Landscape area, the treehouses are perfect for a romantic getaway, peaceful birthday treat or even an exciting family adventure! On-site facilities include a tennis court and wood-fired barrel sauna. Host Lucinda offers a very warm welcome with tea and cake.

Hoots is a circular, cedar-built home providing a cosy retreat for 2 guests, sited amongst the canopy of the surrounding woodland and overlooking the wildlife pond below. Accessed via a wooden walkway and external steps, there is a king size bed and a loft area accessed via a ladder and hatch, with just enough room for a couple of children over 5 years old. Outside, the balcony area has a table, chairs and a gas barbeque for al fresco dining.

There is also the brand new and much larger Tawny Treehouse, designed with opulence and comfort in mind. This enchanting hideaway houses an oak super-king bed and offers serene views, with the soothing sounds of nature. Tawny also features a large wraparound south and west facing decking, complete with a handcrafted copper bath, dining area and space to enjoy the seasons and stargazing. Tawny is unfortunately not suitable for children.

Both of these luxury self-catering treehouses contain a well-equipped kitchenette featuring a Nespresso coffee machine, gas hob, microwave and fridge; plus a living space with comfy seating, Wifi, a TV, DVD player, Bluetooth speaker and en suite shower room. Eco-friendly, the treehouses were constructed using environmentally-friendly materials, with solar panels and grey water recycling systems; ensuring a minimal ecological footprint.
