Hurstwood Farm

Hurstwood Farm is an equestrian centre with 4 charming holiday cottages and 2 shepherd’s huts, situated in the National Landscape Area (formerly known as AONB) of the High Weald. A wonderful place for a holiday, the farm is surrounded by scenic walks, cycling and bridleways and a short drive from Ashdown Forest and the coast. There is also provision for visiting horses and riding lessons with our fully qualified UKCC Coach.

The cottages have been sensitively renovated from the 150-year-old former barns set around a central cobbled courtyard. Guests will find modern self-catering facilities including TV, an equipped kitchen and modern bathroom. Fox’s Lair and Owl’s Roost sleep 2 - 4 in a double room, with a sofa bed in the living room. The Studio and The Holiday Barn are both romantic havens for 2, with a double day bed in the living area.

The 2 shepherd’s huts are called The Falcon and Robin’s Nest, each sleeping 2 people in a sofa bed, with equipped kitchenette, plus en suite toilet and shower. 4 camping pods sleeping 2 with double bed and small kitchen area with a camp cooker and kettle. Grass pitches are also available for campers. The site is surrounded by a vast array of wildlife, including numerous deer species, and there is a friendly local pub within walking distance.
