Open from March to the end of October, the camping field accommodates tents and small campervans for an authentic camping experience. There are toilets, showers, washing-up sinks and water taps; with scenic woodland walks around the campsite. A microbrewery with tap room is situated just outside the grounds.

The small market town of Talgarth is 1.5 miles away, standing near the northern gateway into the Rhiangoll Valley and Black Mountains. The town provides cafés, pubs, independent shops, a 14th century Pele Tower and museum. Local attractions include Talgarth Mill, Bronllys Castle and there is an outdoor activity centre in Llangorse.
