Plas Dolgueg Guest House

Plas Dolgoug is a grand 17th century mansion located in the foothills of Snowdonia, in a quiet rural setting outside the market town of Machynlleth. Offering boutique bed and breakfast rooms, each with an en suite bathroom and private balcony overlooking the mountains of the National Park, there is also a self-catering Coach House available, sleeping up to 10 guests. Plas Dolgoug is also a popular choice for weddings and other special events.

The 5 guest bedrooms / suites are elegantly furnished, including British and French antiques, and are named after famous operatic composers. All have an en suite furnished in the style of a theatrical dressing room featuring a walk-in shower or freestanding bathtub, as well as a lounge, king size bed and private balcony with views of the Dyfi estuary and Snowdonia. The Wagner Suite has a separate sitting room which also sleeps 2 additional guests.

The Coach House at Plas Dolguog is a 5-bedroomed self-catering home with a stylish well-equipped interior, open plan living space with a wood burning stove, plus a pet-friendly garden with private hot tub.
