Thornhills Farm

Thornhills Farm is a holiday park with excellent facilities for tourers, plus a range of superb self-catering accommodation, located near the village of Othery on the fringes of the beautiful Somerset Levels, only 11 miles north-east of Taunton and a short drive from the Quantock Hills and beaches of the Somerset coast. Run by the Godden family, visitors can expect a warm welcome. The site has a reception / shop.

The touring site is spread over a 2-acre field and fully secure, with electric gates which close during the night. There are hardstanding pitches for caravans, motorhomes and campervans; with electric hook-up, water, wastewater disposal and free Wifi. For glamping, Thornhills Lodge (made in Pembrokeshire) is a lovingly hand-crafted shepherds’ hut with wood fired hot tub, providing a cosy retreat for up to 2 people.

Somerset House is a comfortable country hideaway, with 5 bedrooms, sleeping up to 10 people. There is also the most wonderful wood burning fire and the house has a private wood fired hot tub and extensive gardens front and back. Thornhills Cottage is a home-from-home with 1 double bedroom and a comfy sofa bed, to sleep up to 4 people. This self-catering holiday home also comes with a private wood fired hot tub.

On-site facilities include hot showers, toilets and a handy laundry room. Ice creams are sold from reception during the summer and a pub serving a food menu is found a mile away in the village of Middlezoy. The area has endless scenic walking and cycleways, plus there is an equestrian school, RSPB reserve and fishing sites nearby.
