The Ash Barton Estate

The Ash Barton Estate in the North Devon countryside provides the perfect destination for large group holidays, parties and celebrations, including weddings. A grand Grade II listed manor house, with the older parts dating back to the 1400s, the property is surrounded by 25 acres of gardens, woodlands and lakes, with an on-site party barn. The site is fully-licensed to host civil ceremonies and weddings.

The manor house sleeps up to 35 people. There are 10 bedrooms including double, twin and family rooms with bunk beds. Putsborough Bridal Suite, featuring plenty of space and a double-aspect, includes an in-room cast iron bathtub, large double bed, en suite shower and sofa. All rooms have thoughtful décor, en suite facilities, including one for disabled guests. Pets are welcome in the Stables.

The sitting room has a TV and a piano; the kitchen is well-equipped and there is a separate dining room with a long table. The party barn has a large room for sit-down parties or discos, a catering kitchen, games room and swimming pool. There is space for an outside marquee, plus a pretty courtyard and the walled garden to the south of the manor house looks out onto the rolling green Devon hills.
