Springfields Fun Park and Pony Centre is the ideal location for family camping, near the town of St Columb Major and only 15 minutes’ drive from the surfing resort of Newquay. Nestled in a scenic rural setting, yet close to good transport links, guests enjoy free entry to the fun park, can meet the resident animals and ride the ponies.
Open from April to October, the campsite accepts touring caravans, motorhomes and tents, with a choice of grass, hardstanding and electric pitches. Guests will find hot showers, toilets, washing-up sinks and chemical waste disposal. There are static caravans for hire, sleeping 4, 6 or 8 people and caravan storage can be arranged.
The Barnyard Café is open 10 am to 4 pm for refreshments and takeaways. The fun park is a child’s paradise, offering crazy golf, crazy slides, go karts and a boating lake! Kids can also feed the animals, have a ride on a pony and explore the 8-acres of ancient woodland filled with wildlife. Please see the website for more details.
