Situated in the grounds of a working flour mill just outside the historic Dorset town of Shaftesbury, (Gold Hill made famous for its setting for the 1970s Hovis advert), are Miller’s Huts Dorset. These 2 authentic shepherd’s huts overlooking the mill pond, provide a calm and peaceful setting for short breaks and holidays in this beautiful area of England.

Guests can either book one or both of the huts. Miller’s Hut is a cosy hut for 2 with a double bed on a floating platform. John’s Hut is slightly larger, sleeping 2 in a double bed and also including a wood burning stove. Guests can use the field kitchen close by, equipped with a fridge and gas stove, and the wash rooms with toilet and shower.

A optional extra of organic bread, tea, coffee and fresh milk will be waiting on arrival for your first breakfast. There are buses to the town centre from the main road where you can find shops, eateries and museums. The Cranbourne Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is virtually on the doorstep for scenic walks.
