Mount Sandford House

Mount Sandford House, within the beautiful Whiddon Valley on the outskirts of Barnstable, is a large and luxurious manor house nestled in 1.5 acres of gardens, offering superb self-catering accommodation for up to 31 guests; ideal for groups, extended families, parties and corporate events. House facilities include a hot tub and garden pub, with views across Portmore Golf Park.

The house has no shortage of space for everyone, including a living room equipped with TV; the drawing room with a cosy log fire and sofas; and the bar / games room called ‘The Frog and Pheasant’ kitted out like a traditional English pub found in one of the outbuildings. The dining room has a beautiful fireplace and wood panelled walls, with enough seating for 24 people.

The kitchen is fully-equipped, featuring a range-style electric cooker, dishwasher, breakfast bar and the UK’s second oldest working Aga. There is also laundry equipment in the adjacent utility room.
