Duvale Barton Priory

An ideal retreat for group holidays, weddings or business events; Duvale Priory is set along the banks of the River Exe, just off the A396, only 6 miles north of Tiverton. Comprising 3 spacious self-catering properties surrounded by beautiful grounds, this is a unique destination offering excellent facilities and unforgettable experiences!

Duvale Barn is the largest property, sleeping up to 43 guests. A characterful building with beamed ceilings and stone walls, there are 16 bedrooms (most with en suite facilities), multiple lounge and kitchen areas, a large dining room and pool table room. Outside is a terrace, hot tub, covered dining area, table tennis table and a lawn.

Orchard Barn sleeps 29 people in 10 bedrooms, with an extensive open plan living space and lawned garden. Duvale Priory is the oldest building, dating back to 1086. Sleeping 26 people in 8 bedrooms, it offers lounges, a farmhouse kitchen and vaulted beamed ceiling in the long dining room. There is a hot tub in the walled garden.

Duvale Priory is licensed for civil ceremonies and our function room offers capacity for up to 130 seated guests. Located in the Exe Valley, the estate is ideally placed to enjoy the North Devon coast, Exmoor, Dartmoor and the Quantocks. The small town of Bampton is nearby.
