The Packhorse Inn

The Packhorse Inn is a friendly pub with good food, local ales and guest rooms, located in the village of South Brent, on the southern edge of Dartmoor. Recently under new management, new and returning guests are welcome to enjoy our excellent hospitality! There is free parking and a walled garden with views of the National Park.

Guests can choose from 4 bedrooms including double, twin and 4-poster, all featuring en suite facilities, a TV and hospitality tray for making in-room tea and coffee. An English breakfast helps to start the day in the morning. Tasty homecooked meals are also available, including 3-course Sunday lunches. The bar is stocked with a good range of drinks that can be enjoyed in front of a roaring fire or out in the garden. The Devon Expressway road is within easy reach for onward travel and the local area is dotted with numerous walking routes and attractions to explore.
