Allercombe Farm Wild Camping

Allercombe Farm is a working farm in the beautiful South Hams district near Dartmoor, 3 miles from South Brent and near Totnes. Offering wild camping in the scenic Allercombe Valley, just a short drive from the sandy beaches along the English Riviera, it is also close to the Devon Expressway for those passing through.

This site accommodates tents only, in a secluded natural meadow with a stream flowing past. The meadow is surrounded by quiet fields which are home to the cows, horses, chickens and the wild deer, bats and birds. Campers have access to the shared toilet facilities and there are water taps provided.

A selection of home produced beef products are sold on the farm. The village of Rattery is only a short walk away, offering a pub serving food and local ales. There are numerous scenic walking routes around the area including in Ashbourne Woods nearby, plus lots of places to go cycling and off-roading.
