Valleyside Escapes

Valleyside Escapes is an award-winning family-friendly glamping site in a perfect location, along the Exe Valley in the village of Bickleigh, south of Tiverton. Voted ‘Best Glamping Site in Devon 2023-24’ by the Devon Tourism Awards, guests can stay in the 3 luxury safari tents nestled in a rural area surrounded by tranquil woodland.

The safari tents, individually-named as Oak, Maple and Birch, sleep 6 people in a twin and double bedroom, with a king size cabin bed in the living area. There is Wifi, electricity, a kitchen, dining table, wood burning stove, comfortable seating and a snug area with bean bags; plus a shower room with luxury toiletries at the back of the tent. The front can be opened out onto the covered veranda with seating.

There is a play area and 7-acre riverside meadow with picnic benches and a nature trail. Car parking is available near the orchard, with luggage transfers provided. Dogs are welcome. There is a Friday evening bar, and an honesty shop selling essential items. Exe Valley Farm shop is just 7 minutes’ drive and Tiverton is 10 minutes, with supermarkets, independent / high street shops and a department store.
