Kings Down Tail Caravan & Camping Park

Kings Down Tail Caravan and Camping Park, family-run by owners David and Vicki Paget, is located near Sidmouth within the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Located on land that in times past was part of a Royal Hunting Ground, this site is within easy reach of the Jurassic Coast and down the road from The Donkey Sanctuary.

There are 120 pitches spread across different areas, on either grass or hardstanding surface. Tents, trailer tents, motorhomes or caravans are welcome. Electric hook-ups are available and seasonal pitches can be hired for frequent visitors. For glamping, there are Standard Pods (sleeping 2), Family Pods (5) and Cherry Tree House (2).

The park is open March to November, with services including a main amenities block with family and disabled facilities, plus an extra toilet block in the Sheep Fold camping field. There is a play area with pirate ship, games field, dog walking area, shop and a café. The pizza shack is open every Friday and there are visiting food vans.
