Tarka Trail Camping

Tarka Trail Camping provides the perfect location for walkers and cyclists, located in the North Devon village of Yelland, west of Barnstable. Offering direct access to the Tarka Trail and South West Coast Path, this site boasts uninterrupted views over open countryside and across the Taw Estuary. Families and dogs are welcome.

Catering for touring caravans, motorhomes, campervans and tents, the pitches are spacious and either a grass or hardstanding surface, with electricity. Special rates are available for those arriving by bicycle or on foot. The new heated amenities block has hot showers, toilets, disabled facilities and separate family bathrooms.

There are picnic benches and fresh water taps located around the site, as well as a mobile charging point and washing-up room with hot water. Bike storage racks are also available. A microbrewery is found next to the campsite offering local ales and Yelland has a play park and bus services to Ilfracombe and Westward Ho!
