Mill House Farm Pods

Mill House Farm Pods comprise 4 luxurious glamping pods on a small cattle and sheep farm, close to the Lancashire coast, within easy reach of the M6 and only 8 miles from the City of Lancaster. Surrounded by peaceful fields and countryside, this is an eco-friendly site with wind turbines, air source heat pumps and a borehole providing fresh water. The farm is run by the Kellet family who offer a warm welcome.

The 4 glamping pods are timber-built and found in a quiet corner of the farm. Named after birds; Curlew Corner, Lapwing Lodge, Jackdaws Den and Mallard View all sleep 2, with heating, a proper double bed, sofa, Smart TV, kitchenette with combi-microwave oven, hob, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, dining table and en suite shower room. Outside, each pod has its own enclosed patio area with a hot tub, picnic bench and fire pit.

Visitors will find an independent microbrewery with a bar 10 minutes’ walk away, plus a post office and pub in Stakepool nearby. There is also a sky diving centre and numerous walks and cycle routes around the area. Blackpool and Morecambe provide a fun-filled day out at the seaside and the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is within easy reach for sightseeing and a range of outdoors activities.
