1 Park Road Guesthouse is located in a quiet residential area of Windermere, in an elevated position hosting stunning views, with a pretty garden. Built in 1883, this beautiful and historical house is found only a short walk from the town centre and lake. It is also only a 20-minute walk to Bowness-on-Windermere.

Off-road car parking is available for up to 3 cars and there is additional free parking found along the road. The railway station is also within 10 minutes’ walk and regular local bus services are easily accessed. 1 Park Road owner Hilton offers a warm guest welcome, excellent hospitality and extensive local knowledge.

All guest bedrooms are furnished to a high standard and equipped with thoughtful décor, en suite facilities, a TV, hairdryer and refreshments tray with a cafetiére, ground coffee and fresh milk. Choose from Superior, Luxury and Standard Rooms. Please note that the guesthouse is adults only and does not accept pets.

A bouquet of flowers can be arranged with prior agreement for special occasions. Breakfast, using the best local produce, is served in the Victorian dining room in the morning, with a wide menu choice available, including a full cooked English, smoked salmon, omelette and options for vegetarians and other special diets.
