Parkergate Cottages

Parkergate Cottages are a collection of 18th century cottages near the peaceful Lake District village of Bassenthwaite, with stunning views across the fields and fells. Steeped in history, each of the 7 cottages has been sensitively renovated to provide excellent self-catering facilities, whilst retaining characterful original charm.

The Farmhouse is a Grade II listed building accommodating up to 10 people, with 3 en suite bedrooms, another bedroom, large kitchen / diner leading to the sun lounge, sitting room with wood burning stove, children’s lounge with games console and table tennis, plus a family bathroom. There are also 1-bedroomed cottages sleeping 2; The Loft sleeping 4; and the 3-bedroomed barn conversions, Black Moss and Whinlatter, sleeping 5 guests.

Each cottage has an equipped kitchen, bathroom, recycling facilities, outside seating area and car parking. Cots and high chairs can be provided free-of-charge on request. Dogs are also allowed in 4 of the cottages. Easy to find, the accommodation is located just of the A591 road, close to Bassenthwaite Lake, with lots to see and do in the local area.
