The Ashes Caravan Park is a touring site exclusively for adults, situated in New Hutton, only 4 miles from the popular market town of Kendal. Ideal for exploring both the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks, this small, friendly family-owned park is surrounded by open fields and beautiful countryside.
Catering for caravans, motorhomes and trailer tents; there are 25 all-weather pitches, including those with full services of water, 16-amp electric and waste water hook-up. Guests can use the clean and tidy wash blocks with heated shower rooms, toilets and disabled access, plus the Site Wifi. On-lead dogs are allowed on the site.
The Ashes is easily accessed from the M6 motorway and Oxenholme is only 2.5 miles away, providing a railway station on the West Coast Main Line and Windermere Branch Line to Windermere itself. Kendal provides excellent shopping, plenty of places to eat and drink, as well as lots of historical attractions including 2 castles, plus museums and art galleries.
