Flaxton Meadows

Flaxton Meadows is home to a selection of luxurious, handcrafted log cabins overlooking a lake on a Visit England 4-Star rated Holiday Park with a Silver Award for Green Tourism. Located in a peaceful setting, near the rural village of Flaxton in North Yorkshire, the Howardian Hills AONB and historic City of York are within easy reach.

Each cabin is made from recycled and locally-sourced materials, plus are equipped with a ground source heat pump. Sleeping 4 adults and 2 children, they have 3 bedrooms including an en suite king bedded room, twin, and room with bunk beds. The open plan living space has an equipped kitchen and dining area, with a lounge opening to the outside decking area with its private hot tub and seating. There is also a main bathroom. Parking is available.

Guests are welcome to feed the ducks and moorhens on the pond and you may be visited by one of the rehabilitated hedgehogs that Flaxton Meadows cares for in collaboration with local wildlife carers. There are nest boxes for owls, bats and a range of birds. The site welcomes small, well-behaved dogs that will not disturb the wildlife or other guests. Dogs must be kept on-leads outdoors.
