Glandwr is a traditional fisherman’s cottage in Aberdaron, within the Llŷn Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The cottage boasts stunning sea views and is located in the heart of the village, directly opposite the 13th century church, slipway and pubs, with immediate access to the beach and sea. Completely refurbished, this holiday home offers a host of contemporary facilities, including complimentary Wifi, and sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms.
The front door opens directly into the lounge with its cosy log burning stove, comfy sofa, TV, DVD player and large extendable dining table and chairs. This room leads directly to the fully-equipped kitchen with appliances including a gas hob, oven, fridge with freezer compartment and dishwasher. The bathroom / utility, also leading off from the lounge, has a full-size bath with shower, a heated electric towel rail, washing machine and dryer.
A steep set of stairs leads from the lounge up to the 3 first floor bedrooms. The front bedroom is a double with beautiful views over the church and bay. The middle and back bedrooms both have a set of full size bunk beds. There is a patio with chairs at the front of the house overlooking the beach, slipway and St Hywyn’s Church. The cottage has an associated boat shed providing parking spaces in the centre of the village, 2 minutes’ walk away.
Aberdaron is a beautiful and unspoilt historic village at the end of the Llŷn Peninsula, offering the opportunity for relaxing coastal walks, with a sandy beach that is safe for swimming, sailing, kayaking, fishing and surfing. The beach sits on the Wales Coast Path, with stunning cliff top walks available in both directions. There are summertime boat trips to Bardsey Island. Aberdaron has local shops, cafés, pubs, restaurants and a sailing club!
