Rocking Stone Cottage

Rocking Stone Cottages offer the perfect holiday location in the beautiful Peak District for those interested in hill walking, climbing or ancient history. Nestled in the scenic village of Birchover, near Matlock, in an area steeped in druid history, with stone circles, caves and rocks to explore, there is plenty to see and do.

Guests can choose The Stables for 2 or the Rocking Stone Cottage for 4 guests. The Stables is all on ground floor level, featuring an open plan living / sleeping area with a double bed. Rocking Stone Cottage is an 18th century barn with an open plan living area downstairs and a double and a twin room upstairs.

Each is tastefully-furnished in keeping with the original architecture and includes an equipped kitchen, seating area with a wood burning stove and TV; Wifi, modern bathroom and private outdoor terrace with table and chairs. There is off-road car parking. The Monsal Trail and Limestone Way run close by.
