Valley Farm Cottages

Valley Farm Cottages are 3 superb self-catering holiday homes located 5 minutes’ drive from the village of Orford on Suffolk’s Heritage Coast. The properties are found on a family-owned stud farm, surrounded by 80 acres of grassy fields home of the sheep, horses and scenic water meadows; providing a wonderful place for a holiday.

Valley Farm Cottage is a lovely cottage for 4 featuring a main bedroom with super king bed and a flexible super king or twin room. Barn Owl Cottage is a barn converted into a wheelchair-friendly home for 4 or 5 with a downstairs triple bedroom and upstairs super king room. The Coach House sleeps 5 guests and is an 18th century barn with exposed beams and upstairs super king bedroom and a triple room. All have an equipped kitchen, living area with TV, modern bathroom and private garden. They can be booked separately or together for groups.

Orford has a Norman Castle, 2 pubs, a bakery, shop and hotel / restaurant. There is a local fisherman on the quayside if you enjoy fresh fish, or the Butley Oysterage if eating out is a preference. The village is situated on the River Alde and a walk along the river wall followed by a drink in the local tea room or lunch and a pint in The Jolly Sailor is a must! The nearest supermarkets are in Saxmundham which is only 15 minutes’ drive away. There is also a railway station here with connections to Ipswich and London.
