The Ariundle Centre in Strontian offers self-catering accommodation, located adjacent to the Ariundle Oakwood National Nature Reserve, about 12 miles from the Corran ferry. The centre also serves great food, sells crafts and runs workshops in the craft rooms including felt making, spinning, natural dyeing, basket making and landscape painting. Well-behaved dogs are welcome.
The lodge sleeps numbers of guests from 1 up to 22. There is a twin bedroom with wheelchair access and 2 quad rooms with bunk beds downstairs; and a large room upstairs sleeping 8 in bunk beds. In addition, the separate apartment for 4 people has an open plan living area and 2 bedrooms. All have en facilities and bed linen provided. There is a communal kitchen and dining area.
The lodge sits in the working croft of the Ariundle Centre, between the restaurant and Strontian River, providing a perfect base from which to explore the nature reserve and Ardnamurchan Peninsula. Food is served throughout the day in the restaurant, with takeaway meals and packed lunches available. Wifi can also be accessed in the restaurant. Please see the website for details.
