Thistles on Skye

Thistles on Skye are 2 contrasting holiday cottages with sea views, situated along the south coast of this scenic Scottish island. Set on a croft near the village of Isleornsay, only a 20-minute drive from the Skye Bridge, this accommodation provides a peaceful location to unwind and is also an ideal base from which to explore the island.

Thistles is a timber-cladded modern house sleeping 4 people. Inside, there are 2 bedrooms both with king sized beds, a Smart TV, en suite facilities and French doors opening onto Juliet balconies. Downstairs, there is a comfortable open plan living area with a designer kitchen featuring an Aga, wood burning stove and Smart TV.

The Croft is a 1-bedroomed 1900s former croft house overlooking the Sound of Sleat to the Knoydart peninsula. Sleeping 2 people, guests will find a large king bedded room with en suite shower facilities and a separate dressing room, plus a snug sitting area with TV / DVD and kitchen / diner downstairs, plus a luxury bathroom.

Both houses include high-quality bedding, bathrobes, slippers, a hairdryer, USB charging points, free Wifi and Bluetooth speakers. DVDs, board games, maps, walking books and visitor information are provided. The cottages have a garden and parking area. Lightweight LED torches are available for strolls to the local hotel for a meal.
