South Priddacombe

A stunning Grade II listed farmstead set within 90 acres of rural farmland, South Priddacombe is a wonderful holiday home located on beautiful Bodmin Moor, providing a peaceful and secluded location, yet within 30 minutes’ drive of the coast. This house sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms and dogs are also welcome to stay, with an enclosed rear garden. The house is located at the end of a couple of miles of track, with plenty of car parking.

This rustic granite-built cottage dates back several hundred years and provides abundant character and warmth. Sensitively updated and stylishly furnished, the house is very comfortable, offering a sitting room containing a sofa and armchairs, plenty of books and a small television. There is also a well-equipped kitchen with local slate countertops and floors, plus a utility room with laundry facilities. The dining room has a large table and dresser.

There are 3 bedrooms made up with quality linen for guests’ arrival. The bathroom has a roll-top cast iron bath with a shower over, and there is an additional walk-in shower in the utility room. Outside, is a large yard with furniture, a small walled area with seating in front of the cottage and the rear garden. Brilliant for outdoors enthusiasts, there are walks to Rough Tor and Brown Willy, Cornwall’s highest points, from the back door!
