Abbots Reading Farm

Abbots Reading Farm is a beautiful location for a glamping holiday, situated in the southern part of the Lake District National Park, close to the village of Haverthwaite, near to the southern tip of Lake Windermere. These octolodges are found on a family-owned cattle and sheep farm with stunning views across the Rusland Valley.

Sleeping 2, 4 or 5 guests, each insulated octolodge has a double bed and 2 beds that provide seating during the day and sleeping facilities at night. There is also a kitchenette area, TV, heaters, electricity, lighting, plenty of storage and a private enclosed outside decking area. Each also has spectacular views of the Coniston mountains.

Facilities include a shared heated toilet and shower block, covered barn courtyard with picnic benches, barbeque, table tennis and table football; as well as pot washing sinks, a freezer and large play area. There are hides for birdwatching and tractor tours and pond dipping can be arranged. Unfortunately, pets are not permitted.
