Castle Guards Farm Retreat

For luxurious family and dog-friendly glamping pods, Castle Guards Farm Retreat is located only 2 miles from the town of Cockermouth, known as the gateway to the western Lake District and Solway Coast. This site is located at the start of National Cycle Route 10 and also provides easy access to numerous hiking trails and attractions including the Wordsworth House and Garden, Lakes Distillery, Bassenthwaite Lake, Moorforge Viking Settlement and many more.

The beautiful Finnish glamping pods all sleep 6 people and boast a private hot tub. All are also equipped with Wifi, a Smart Freeview TV, electric sockets, underfloor heating, fully-equipped kitchen area including a hob, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and microwave etc.; plus there is a double bed, set of bunk beds, sofa bed and en suite shower room. Outside, is a private seating area with wood fired hot tub; a barbeque and parking for 2 cars. Highmoor and Corn Crake are dog-friendly pods, whereas Tarnities and The Roans are both dog-free.
