The Wildboar Caravan and Camping Site is found within the Peak District, near the small village of Wincle, only 5 miles SE from Macclesfield. This site hosts panoramic views across open countryside towards the hill tops and is a popular choice for walkers and cyclists. Dogs are welcome.
Tents, campervans and touring caravans can be accommodated on the 1-acre camping field. The on-site facilities include electric hook-ups for an additional charge, a shower block with 2 showers and 3 toilets; outdoor pot washing sinks, fresh water and a waste disposal point.
There are numerous footpaths around the area exploring some of the most scenic views including The Roaches; and cycling trails, including in the Manifold Valley. There are water-based activities on Rudyard and Tittesworth Lakes and the highest village in England, at Flash, close by.
