Welcome to Kez’s Campsite, a small family-run site just to the north of Burton-in-Kendal, 5 miles from Carnforth and easily accessed from the M6. Found between the Lake District, Forest of Bowland and Yorkshire Dales, the local area is popular for a wide range of sightseeing and outdoors pursuits.
A no-frills farm campsite, the grass field can accommodate tents, campervans and small motorhomes. Family-friendly, dogs are also welcome, with raised firepits and barbeques allowed. There are 2 portaloos. A tennis court is available for guests and a pizza van stops by the site one night a week.
Burton-in-Kendal is a 20-minute walk away and has a butcher’s shop, a pub and children’s play area. There are also regular bus services to Kendal and Lancaster city centre. The area has endless scenic walks and cycle routes, with Hutton Roof Nature Reserve close by for wildlife and geology enthusiasts.
