Welcome to Thirlspot Farm Camping, situated near Thirlmere, in-between Keswick and Grasmere, along the A591 road in the Lake District National Park. Ideally located for Helvellyn, Skiddaw and Blencathra, this site is an excellent base for hiking, fell walking and cycling.
Open March to October for campervans, motorhomes and touring caravans, there are grass and hardstanding pitches, with and without EHU. Space for awnings can be arranged. Toilets, showers and washing-up sinks are provided. Dogs are allowed with prior notice.
There is a 17th century former coaching inn serving food adjacent to the site. The area has many brilliant places to visit including Aira Force Waterfall, Grizedale Forest, infinity pool and the independent shops in Grasmere, home of William Wordsworth and the famous gingerbread shop. Maximum of 8 meters for touring caravans, motorhomes and camper vans.
