The Shepherds Hut

Tucked away in a peaceful rural location, The Shepherd’s Hut is a cosy holiday retreat for 2 people, in Hetton Law, between the ancient market town of Alnwick and the town of Berwick-upon-Tweed. Both towns have good amenities. This accommodation is ideal as a base for exploring NE England and the Scottish borders.

Nestled within its own private garden, looking across the open fields, The Shepherd’s Hut features cosy underfloor heating, a double bed, electric stove, tea and coffee-making facilities and an en suite shower room. The separate sun room has a kitchen area with sink, cooker and fridge, wood burning stove and seating.

Outside, there is a bench and bistro set. Hetton Law Microbrewery is virtually on the doorstep and the nearest pubs and shops are in Lowick, 3 miles away. St Cuthbert’s Cave, Cheviot Hills and Wooler Golf Course are a short drive away and the Northumberland Coast AONB and National Park are also within easy reach by car.
