Hill Top Huts at The Moorcock Inn

Hill Top Huts at The Moorcock Inn offer a range of glamping timber pods in a scenic corner of the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Located near the village of Egglestone, just 4 miles from the market town of Middleton-in-Teesdale; on-site facilities include an inn serving excellent food and drink.

There are 12 huts; each fully-insulated, with lighting, heating, electric sockets, a kettle, fridge, microwave and toaster, plus an outside picnic table. There are 3-berth huts with seating that convert into beds at night, plus 4-berth and 5-berth huts with a fixed double bed. Some huts are disabled or dog-friendly.

Facilities include showers and toilets with family and wheelchair accessible wet rooms, as well as potwashing sinks and a launderette. The inn serves a menu of home cooked food and has a games room with a pool table, darts and TV screen. Special events, meetings and family occasions are accommodated.
