Whitegate Leisure Caravan & Campsite

Whitegate Leisure Caravan and Campsite is in a rural and picturesque setting, with stunning views across the Holme Valley, 2 miles outside Holmfirth and on the northern edge of the Peak District National Park. This site is an excellent base from which to explore the local and surrounding area on foot, by bicycle, motorbike or car.

Caravans, motorhomes and tents are all welcome on the camping field. All pitches are on grass and have an electric hook-up. Seasonal hardstanding pitches are available for those who want to visit the site regularly. There are showers and WCs, plus an outdoor washing-up area and free Wifi. This site is happy to be dog-friendly.

There is a farm shop only a short walk away and a vineyard further on providing wine tasting, tours, a restaurant, gym and sauna facilities. The nearest pubs are a 30-minute walk away in Holmbridge. Holmfirth has a wide range of places to eat, shops and a live music venue. There is also walking, cycling and fishing along the valley.
