Loch Morar Self-Catering

Loch Morar Self-Catering comprises 2 properties; The Wee Lodge and The Byres, both sleeping 2 guests, on a working croft with stunning views of Loch Morar, 5 miles from Mallaig. Guests will observe wildlife such as eagles, red deer and otters from the doorstep, and the accommodation provides a great base from which to explore Lochaber, enjoy boat trips to the Small Isles, Knoydart or Skye; stroll along beaches and walk in the hills.

The award-winning Wee Lodge is accessed by a gravel path and wooden steps, and completely disconnected from the outside world. This glamping pod is very well-equipped with modern comforts including Bluetooth speakers, a sofa, kitchenette with sink, hob, fridge and microwave, double bed, dining table and en suite shower room. Outside, there is a decking area with a table and chairs, providing a space for al fresco dining and relaxing.

The Byres is a sensitively-renovated old stone croft house and byre sleeping 2 guests. In an elevated position, the property enjoys superb views. There is a living / dining room, kitchen, super king / twin bedroom and shower room. The property is set within the owner’s grounds, with access to garden and a duck pond. Outside furniture is provided on a south-facing gravel area. Please note we do not accept dogs as this is a working croft.
