Balranald Hebridean Holidays is on the west coast of North Uist, within the RSPB Balranald Nature Reserve overlooking Horseshoe Bay, a stone’s throw from the sandy beach. The site is an ideal base for exploring and is a bird watchers paradise. The bay is great for walking, kite surfing, swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding.
This family-run site can accommodate tents, touring caravans and motorhomes, with a choice of hardstanding pitches equipped with 16-amp EHU, and grass pitches with and without electricity. Pets are welcome. In addition, Corncrake Pod sleeps 2 for glamping, or the fully-equipped croft house Kettle Cottage, sleeps 2 guests.
There are heated toilet and shower blocks with wheelchair access, laundry facilities, dishwashing sinks, free Wifi and a basic camper’s kitchen. The shop sells refreshments, gifts and stamps.
