Welcome to Skeld Caravan Park, a Visit Scotland 4-Star rated touring park located in Skeld, on the west side of Mainland Shetland. Situated directly along the bay overlooking the marina, it is ideally placed for exploring this beautiful island and for taking part in outdoors pursuits. The site has a hardstanding area for caravans and motorhomes and a flat sheltered grassy area for tents. All pitches have access to electric hook-up and Wifi. The amenities block has toilets and showers with disabled access, as well as kitchen and laundry facilities. There is chemical WC / waste water disposal. Dogs are allowed.
Picnic tables are dotted around the site and guests will find a wildlife hide. A children’s play area is available 5 minutes’ walk away and freshly-caught seafood can be bought from the fishermen on the local pier. The local small shop at Bixter has fuel pumps, about 15 minutes’ drive from the campsite. Please see the website for more information.
