Knock School Caravan Park and Campsite is situated in a secluded rural setting on the beautiful Galloway coast. Located on the A747, 3 miles south of Port William and 7 miles north of the historic town of Whithorn, the park is situated at the entrance to St. Medan Golf Course and has easy access to the sandy beaches of Monreith Bay.
Open from Easter through to September, visitors will find 10 hardstanding pitches for caravans and motorhomes, and a separate grassy area for tents. The site has electric hook-ups, mains water, toilet block and hot showers. Well-behaved dogs are welcome to stay. There is also a 19th century cottage for 3 guests available for holiday hire.
The area has great beaches, plus scenic walks and cycling routes, including The Whithorn Way and South West Coastal Cycle Route. Monreith Animal World is very close by, and the Drumtrodden Standing Stones and St Ninian’s Cave provide a great spectacle. Reduced rates are available at St. Medan Golf Course for caravan park guests.
