Deerness Community Centre Caravan & Camp Site

Deerness Community Centre Caravan and Campsite is a small, friendly no-frills site situated in the scenic rural community of Deerness on Mainland Orkney. Run by local volunteers in a relatively unspoilt area close to the beautiful Newark Beach, everyone can expect a very warm welcome.

There are pitches for tents, motorhomes and caravans, with electric hook-ups and drinking water taps provided. Groups, rallies and special events can all be accommodated, with meeting rooms and a sports hall in the centre available to hire. Dogs are allowed on-site. The toilets and showers in the community centre are available for overnight guests to use, with disabled access. There is also a washing machine. Younger visitors will enjoy the public playground. There is a convenience store nearby and many interesting landmarks around the coast within walking distance. The dark, clear skies at night are also great for stargazing.
