North Coast Touring Park

North Coast Touring Park is a family run, dog-friendly site with glamping accommodation, found along the NC500 route in Melvich, 16 miles from Thurso. Facilities include an on-site bar and restaurant. The park is also only a 15-minute walk from the sandy beach of Melvich Bay. Surrounded by views across open moorland, this is a scenic, peaceful location.

Caravans, motorhomes and tents can all be accommodated on the park. There are also 6 glamping pods sleeping 1 to 7 people, including mattresses, heating, lighting, fridge, kettle and even a TV! Caravan/Motorhome pitches are with hardstanding area and a grass area for an awning and all pitches have electric hook-up. Tent pitches can be with or without electric hookup. All guests have access to the well-presented toilet and shower block; kitchen area with dishwashing sinks, kettle, microwave, iron and fridge freezer; launderette; free Wifi and children’s play area. The Halladale Inn is open for breakfast, lunch and evening meals and Sunday roasts is offered for the months of March, Oct, Nov, and Dec. Please see the website for more details.
