Loch Ness Bay Camping

Loch Ness Bay Camping is situated in Drumnadrochit, just a short walk from the shores of Loch Ness. Nestled on Borlum Farm, which dates back to the 14th century, this site offers camping, cottages, livery for horses and riding holidays. This is an ideal choice for those who enjoy equestrianism, walking or water based activities, relaxing holidays and monster spotting!

The pitches are large and are suitable for tents, motorhomes and touring caravans on grass and hardstanding; with and without electric hook-up and water connection. Facilities include toilets, hot showers, a launderette and dishwashing sinks, with picnic benches located around the site. Children under 5 stay for free and the whole site is covered by free Wifi.

The cottage accommodation comprises Marnie's Croft, sleeping 7 in 4 bedrooms; a lovely holiday home overlooking Urquhart Castle. Creag Iolaire ‘Hill of the Eagles’ is our other cottage, sleeping 6 in 3 bedrooms; on the side of the hill at Strone, high above Loch Ness, with breathtaking views over the loch and up Glenurquhart to the distant mountains of Glen Affric.

There are local shops, a convenience store and post office just half a mile away, and the Loch Ness Exhibition Centre and Urquhart Castle are within a short walk.
