The Hawthornes CL and Bed and Breakfast

Welcome to The Hawthorns CL Caravan Site, run by friendly owners Paula and John, who also own the adjacent bed and breakfast. Set within 11 acres on the southern edge of the North York Moors National Park, the site is located in the village of Middleton, bordering Pickering. There is a pub, post office, garage, church and mini supermarket within the village.

The CL site is dog-friendly, providing electric hook-up on the pitches, and use of the 2 toilets and shower. In addition, World’s End is the recently-converted Victorian Living Van sleeping 2 people, featuring a double bunk, wood burning stove and a separate covered camping kitchen area with barbeque and pizza oven. There are also the log cabins, for 2 adults each, with a double bedroom, equipped kitchen, living room and wet room.

Visitors will find walks from the doorstep and there are a selection of walking books and maps of the local area available to borrow. The market town of Pickering is a 20 - 30 minute walk away, providing lots of shops and places to eat, plus the North York Moors Railway and 13th century motte and bailey castle.
