The Wolds Inn

The Wolds Inn is a welcoming 16th century country pub situated in the Yorkshire Wolds village of Huggate. Offering 4 guest rooms, as well as a menu of fine food and drink, with owners Vicky and Richard at the helm, guests can expect the same high level of service bestowed upon travellers and tourists throughout the centuries.

The beautifully-furnished rooms are named after game birds. Grouse, Quail and Pheasant can be arranged with either a king bed or twin beds, whereas Partridge has a king size and a single bed. All have en suite facilities, complimentary toiletries, Smart TV, Wifi and a hospitality tray; with an optional breakfast served in the morning.

Visitors can sample superb home cooked food in the restaurant, with its characterful panelled walls and beamed ceilings, and also have a drink in the bar lounge with its wood burning stove, or out in the garden. Popular for walkers and cyclists, there is also car parking. Regular quiz nights and live music are held throughout the year.
