Oaktree-Lane Cabins

Oaktree-Lane Cabins offer glamping accommodation and camping facilities, near Okehampton. Situated on a farm close to Roadford Lake, the site has achieved a TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Award for the last 3 years for our guest reviews. Based on the Devon and Cornwall border, this is a fantastic location from which to explore. Dartmoor is just to our east, Bodmin to the west, and the beach at Bude is 30 minutes to the north.

Eco-friendly, powered by solar energy and with rain water collected and recycled; there are wooden cabins for 4 guests, wooden eco-lodges for 5 or the Mongolian yurt for 6 people. Each of our different accommodation types are designed to give privacy and space to guests, with a private outside decking area with a barbeque.

The cabins are equipped with TV and central heating and have separate bedrooms, a kitchen, living room and bathroom. The eco-lodges are hexagonal in shape; with a double bed, 2 single day beds, a futon bed and wood burning stove, whereas the yurt has a double, 2 day beds and 2 futon beds, plus a wood burning stove. Each yurt and lodge has a camping kitchen and private shower room nearby.

Fresh eggs and farm produce are sold on-site and guests can enjoy organised pizza nights using the traditional clay oven. For a stroll in the country, the nearby village of Bratton Clovelly is a good place to visit, with a local pub that offers a menu of good food.
